Seismic Hazard Assessment
Seismic Hazard Analysis (SHA) is carried out to evaluate the intensity of ground shaking at a given location.
SHA requieres the definition of the seismogenic sources at the region of interest, the compilation of one or more seismic catalogues, the selection of Ground Motion Prediction Equations (GMPE) consistent with the seismogenic sources. The epistemic uncertainty is carried out compiling a logic tree.
SHA can be carried out deterministically (DSHA) or probabilistically (PSHA).
Typical results of SHA are Uniform Hazard Spectra (UHS) and a set of accelerograms at the sites of interest.

SHA is carried out with the technical consultancy of a seismotectonic geologist for the definition of the seismogenic sources.
